Caryl Serbin and Tara Gillon to Present ASCA Webinar

Serbin Medical Billing’s President Caryl Serbin, RN, BSN, LHRM, and Vice President of Operations Tara Gillon, CRCP-P, will present a webinar for the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association (ASCA) on March 24, 2020, at 1:00 pm ET.

The description of the program — "How to Give Your ASC the Best Financial Advantage" — is as follows:

"Revenue cycle management can make or break your ASC. Your center’s financial success is directly linked to the efficiency, accuracy and timeliness of all business office functions that impact your revenue cycle. Some of these functions, including coding, billing and collections, have clear connections to your ASC’s finances. However, a variety of other, less obvious areas—such as staffing, fee schedule maintenance, managed care negotiations, scheduling, insurance verification, financial counseling, registration and auditing—can also impact the revenue cycle. Learn how to identify warning signs of practices that may negatively affect your ASC’s revenue stream and discuss guidelines for how to correct—or better yet, how to avoid—these cash-flow pitfalls."

Attendees can earn one (1) unit of AEU credit for the CASC credential and one (1) nursing contact hour.

The cost of the webinar is $100 for ASCA members and $150 for nonmembers. The program is also included in ASCA's 2020 Webinar All-Access Pass.
